A spirit of kindness and gratitude this Thanksgiving Dean's Blog Lyndon F. Cooper

A spirit of kindness and gratitude this Thanksgiving

Despite the winter skies and cooler breezes forecast this weekend, the spirit of Thanksgiving promises to brighten and warm the days. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, please take a moment to appreciate the diverse perspectives and talents we share as an academic community and the collaborative spirit and dedication that inspires and elevates us all.

We can give thanks for our health and abilities that enable the incredible achievements we accomplish together.

In these moments before this holiday break, please take some time to reflect on your commitment to our culture of care, of your gratitude, as well as your desired support. Reach out to a colleague, share your appreciation in a note or kind word and consider your goals and collaboration with renewed enthusiasm.

I am truly grateful for the collegiality and care expressed throughout our School of Dentistry and appreciative of the many and continuous gestures of kindness shown by all. Enjoy this Thanksgiving holiday.
